About the CCHL
The Capital Corridor Hockey League (CCHL) is a competitive ice hockey league with weekend-only games and limited weeknight practices. Participating teams consist of players with skill levels that range from those that are new to hockey to others who generally have skills slightly below Tier 2 B level. Some teams may have limited numbers of higher skilled players.
The CCHL consists of clubs located throughout the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia region. The CCHL strives to provide an opportunity for young men and women to participate in an organized and competitive environment, to foster player development and to provide opportunities for personal growth and enrichment.
The CCHL is sanctioned by USA Hockey and is a member of the Potomac Valley Amateur Hockey Association (PVAHA), which is the regional affiliate within USA Hockey’s Southeastern District.
The CCHL is a non-profit corporation (501.c.3 status applied for and pending), run by an elected Board of Directors.
